Great restaurant ..... Food was delicious and always friendly! Greetings to the Sunday hikers with children and dog 😊

We already had high expectations of the Hagen's food. The good reviews on the Internet, the word-of-mouth propaganda and the well-described dishes on the menu were the advance praise. We have ordered 7 Christmas menus for home. We received very well packaged, lovingly labeled dishes and easy-to-understand instructions for finalizing the dishes in a few minutes at home. This shape is also suitable for people who live further away and otherwise only use the kitchen to make coffee. Great pumpkin soup (pumpkin seeds packed separately, pumpkin oil in a cute little glass also extra). The roast beef was on point, the vegetables were crunchy and the dessert was a successful conclusion. Roulades with a great sauce, sophisticated red cabbage that tastes like "dahaam" and dumplings like grandma's. Everything with regional products, at fair prices and from nice guests. Probably only to be topped on site in the restaurant itself, which we will definitely make up for. Again and again, but also to bridge the gap as a "DeLuxe Care Package" for at home

Very, very tasty food. Changing menu and seasonal dishes. Only the service needs longer when the house is full (luckily this often happens for the innkeeper).

An additional slice of bread to the cooked cheese was charged extra with 50 cents. That's stingy. It's not about the 50 cents, but about the attitude when the bread is insufficient for the amount of cheese. Other restaurateurs manage that better.

This country inn is one of the 50 best village inns in Hessen, that says a lot. We have personally convinced ourselves that this award was rightly given. The rump steak was tender and cooked to the point. But the schnitzel with cooked cheese was also ok. The chef knows a thing or two about his business and the service was friendly. There is a nice beer garden behind the house. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. We stayed here on another visit. The rooms are now completely renovated, modern and highly recommended.

This is our 2nd time here. Everything fits, from the table reservation to the final espresso. Friendly and courteous staff who tried to fulfill even small requests. A really delicious meal, lady steak from the grill, whether medium or well done, it was fried to the point. One should reserve Sufficient parking space available, a terrace when the weather is nice.

Super short vacation in a family atmosphere and with culinary delights. Nobody goes home hungry. Absolutely a recommendation Worth an ideal starting point for excursions in the region, or simply to feast. The rooms are also highly recommended after the renovation and invite you to spend the night.

Highly recommended, with friendly service and high quality food. The menu offers a nice change, from pizza to half a chicken to the obligatory cooked schnitzel. In the end, the boss came into the dining room and took a short time to talk.

As always, it's delicious. The staff friendly, nice and courteous. We still get here despite Corona. The regulations are all observed and you can still feel comfortable.
